Watching this video - "When I Die : Lessons from the Death Zone" - transported me back to my own experiences with death of my loved ones.

After my mother died, my father having died many years ago, I was in limbo for a while. This beautifully thoughtful and reflective video gave me acceptance on the loss of my parents. As well, his thoughts gave me a deep commitment to honour the gifts that I have inherited from both of them.

Just for a start, I have my father’s business acumen and my mother’s creativity which for me emerges as a writer who can publish her own work.

I have a lot to do yet. I am grateful for this enormous privilege to use what I have inherited to make a difference in this world.
