The Questions We Ask

The questions we ask shape our path...

This short film - "The Questions We Ask" - poses a question about why someone would choose the road less travelled; why someone would “paddle a paddle board across a wide channel instead of taking the ferry”.

I enjoyed Bruce's questioning, and his honest answers. I felt that they were around the Hero’s Journey towards self realisation so eloquently described by Joseph Campbell.

Journeys such as these begin with one word  - “Why?”.

This was my first spoken word when I was a child. Bruce helped me to realise that an essential part of my life journey has been to honour that word, and my deep need to take the road less travelled and thus test myself beyond my limits. Only here do I discover my strength.
