I have read, then slowly re-read this thoughtful piece from the poet Pádraig Ó Tuama. In a world busy with doing and being, this is a delicious invitation to simply be happy with being alone, right now — it is perfectly OK.

This lesson has been gifted to me a number of times during my life. Each time, I am returned to the same place. Simply me, and wherever I am in the world, no neediness in sight.

And this is enough.

So today, my grateful thanks to Pádraig for reminding me of this lesson.

I hope you enjoy this lesson too:-)
